Patriots Depth Chart (Updated for Week 8 2026)

The New England Patriots depth chart for Week 8 at the Miami Dolphins, offense, defense and special teams, plus the current injury report and every player on a reserve list.

By The Pats Digest··Updated

The New England Patriots depth chart below follows the ESPN and Patriots.com charts. It is current as of Friday, Oct. 30, 2026, after the team filed its Week 8 game statuses. The current injury report follows, sourced from CBS Sports.

New England is 4-3 and plays at the Miami Dolphins in Week 8. No NFL club publishes a binding depth chart; the Patriots.com version carries a note that it is unofficial and reflects the opinions of that site’s writers rather than the organization.

Flags show roster status plus the game designations on New England’s Week 8 report. A.J. Brown, TreVeyon Henderson and Christian Elliss are questionable and no Patriot is out or doubtful. ESPN’s own chart also tags Morgan Moses, Ben Brown and DaQuan Jones questionable off its internal feed; those are not on the team’s filing and are not carried over here.

Status flags: Q = questionable. IR = injured reserve. PUP = reserve/physically unable to perform. Game designations are the ones on New England's Week 8 report: A.J. Brown, TreVeyon Henderson and Christian Elliss are questionable, and Mike Vrabel said Friday that the team will decide on them Saturday. No Patriot is listed as out or doubtful. Marcus Bryant is on injured reserve with an open practice window and must be activated to the 53-man roster before he can play.

Injury report

Practice participation as of Friday, Oct. 30, 2026, ahead of Sunday's game at the Miami Dolphins on Nov. 1. Full detail, including Miami Dolphins and every player on a reserve list, is on thePatriots injury report.

On injured reserve: Marcus Bryant, Alijah Vera-Tucker, Romeo Doubs, Mack Hollins, Reggie Gilliam, Mike Onwenu, Greg Van Roten, Dell Pettus, Quintayvious Hutchins, Khalil Jacobs, Harold Landry III, Bryce Baringer, Myles Montgomery, Jeremiah Webb, Julian Hill.

Note: New England has filed its Week 8 game statuses: A.J. Brown, TreVeyon Henderson and Christian Elliss are questionable. Miami had not filed its game statuses when this page was last updated, so the Dolphins' status column is still empty. Friday participation is shown only where it was reported: Brown and Henderson both missed Friday's practice. A dash in a participation column means the player was not on that day's report or that day's participation was not reported. A dash in the game status column means no designation, which means the player is expected to play.

Walter Rouse and Matt Pryor hold both guard spots. Rouse starts at left guard and Pryor at right guard, and each is listed second behind the other. Alijah Vera-Tucker is now on injured reserve behind Rouse, with Greg Van Roten fourth on that line and Mike Onwenu fourth on the right. Ben Brown is back practicing on a limited basis but still sits behind Pryor on this chart.

Caleb Lomu is the swing tackle on both sides. Lomu backs up Will Campbell at left tackle and Morgan Moses at right tackle. Marcus Bryant is third at right tackle from injured reserve with an open practice window, and was a full participant Wednesday and Thursday.

A.J. Brown is questionable, and the room behind him is three deep. Brown is the listed starter ahead of Kyle Williams, with DeMario Douglas and Efton Chism III starting the other two spots. He missed Thursday's and Friday's practices and is questionable for Sunday. Mack Hollins and Romeo Doubs are on injured reserve, so Douglas, Chism and Williams are the only other wide receivers on the 53-man roster.

All three returning cornerbacks are on the chart. Carlton Davis III starts at left cornerback and Christian Gonzalez at right, with Channing Canada and Karon Prunty behind Gonzalez and Marcus Jones at nickel. Davis, Canada and Prunty each missed four games this season and practiced in full Wednesday and Thursday.

Henderson is questionable and Elliss is too. Rhamondre Stevenson starts at running back with TreVeyon Henderson second and Corey Kiner third. Henderson missed Thursday and Friday with an illness and is questionable. Christian Elliss, the starter at left inside linebacker, is also questionable with a chest injury despite practicing in full.
